Black River & Western Railroad, August 2016

On the day after I got a Tamron 15-30mm wide-angle lens (recommended to me by my late friend Glenn Brogan), I visited New Jersey's Black River & Western Railroad -- a line I have known since my father first brought me there in 1970.  With my father again on that 2016 day, we chased the train and rode the train, and at the end of the day the generous crew took me on a cabride to the end of in-service track at Boss Road, south of the headquarters town of Ringoes.  (For updates on the Black River Railroad Historic Trust's effort to reopen the line all the way to Lambertville, click here.)  Every photo here came through the 15-30.
